Aveda Purescription Volumising Tonic contains certified organic aloe and wheat amino acids to help build body and add shine. Formulated with Aveda’s Pure Fume aroma containing essential oils it works to uplift your senses.
Step 1: Shake Well. Step 2: With towel dried hair, spray thoroughly starting from root to tip. For an even fuller look, section hair as you style. Step 3: Comb Through. Step 4: Blow dry and style as desired

Amazing product
I've just purchased this Aveda volumising tonic and I have stayed it onto damp hair at the roots and a light spray through the length of my hair as I have long curly hair,dryer it with my defuser and Wow it has definitely done what it said it would do .my curls look fuller alot more bouncy with masses of volume and so soft .I hope the volume holds and didn't drop .would highly recommend this product

Nice smell
but not a lot more, maybe I am not using it correctly although I followed the instructions it doesn't seem to do anything for my fine hair.

I have fine hair and have been using aveda products for years. This is one that I continually repurchase. Light weight, gives the hair volume after blow drying (spray into roots while damp) and leaves the hair soft and natural. Love it!

Still one of the best
I have used other sprays, mousses etc., to give volume to my hair, which goes flat to my head at the slightest opportunity! In my opinion though this Volumising Tonic still comes out on top (pardon the pun!). It seems to give volume to my hair without making my scalp itchy and my hair still has shine to it.

Good product
I use abundance prep each time which I really rate. I tried the volumising tonic on its own but wasn't so impressed as it left my hair feeling a bit dry. I experimented by using the abundance prep all over as usual and then a light spray of the volumising tonic just on the crown. It has definitely got more volume using the two together. I have very fine coloured hair so it’s hard to find just the right product. I also use the brilliant hairspray to finish.

Seems to work!
Due to illness my hair has gone thin and this product does seem to make it look thicker. Whether it works onnaturally fine hair, I couldn’t say, but I am please with what it is doing for me. This is my second bottle.

Good for fine hair
I have quite "fine" hair - sadly at the slightest opportunity it clings to my head! It needs "body". I find this product very good - it does give body, but not in a way that dries your hair or makes it look stiff. Also it does not make my scalp itch - some stronger products I've tried in the past, (not Aveda), have irritated my scalp (mousse products tend to do this). After washing I go all over my head parting my hair and then spraying lightly. It works well too if I leave my hair, simply comb it through and then leave for a few minutes before blow-drying.

A Very Good Product
I have naturally straight, fine hair - a reasonable amount of it - but a hairdresser once called it "slippery" hair - rarely holds a hairgrip for more than 10 mins and tends to cling to my head! I have tried so many things - hair mousse can irritate my scalp and some sprays are quite harsh and have a strong perfume. This product is working very well for me. I spray it on to damp hair making partings and spraying it . I then comb my hair to move it evenly across my head. Yes, works a treat, gives bounce and the next day does not make my hair look greasy (some of the mousses do). It certainly suits my hair and the perfume is not strong. Pleased I came across this!
