Give skin a deep cleanse with the Micro-Peeling Purifying Gel Wash from French skincare brand La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar range, targeted at oily, blemish and acne-prone skin. The foaming body and facial wash is specially formulated for persistent and stubborn imperfections.
Enriched with a blend of powerful actives including Salicylic Acid (2%), LHA (0.05%), Zinc (0.2%) and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring water, the cleanser works to decongest clogged pores of bacteria and impurities that can lead to excess sebum production and breakouts. Performing a micro-exfoliation to gently, yet effectively, purge skin of daily pollutants and acne-inducing bacteria, the purifying wash refreshes skin from top to toe with its gentle, alcohol-free formula. Dermatologically-tested and safe for use on even the most sensitive skin types, the hypoallergenic gel wash imparts a cooling sensation with menthol for an invigorating cleanse.

Different to what I was expecting

I have never looked back
I have been using this since having severe acne back in Covid times due to the masks. Granted it didn’t cure my acne however I used alongside my treatment of roaccutane and it has not caused any irritations or complications whilst my skin has been changing and has not caused any further breakouts. I highly doubt I will use another face wash again. The only *slight* downside I suppose is that your skin can feel quite dry however with a good moisturiser it’s not too much of an issue.

Trusting the process!
I’ve used this product on my face and back to try and reduce acne and scarring. It has definitely brought out the clogged pores and I’m currently trusting the process! Since using this product I have noted improvements overall with pore size and general healing time/redness of any acne. It has felt slightly drying so I currently use it a few times a week alongside the cicaplast range to protect my skin barrier.
