Achieve flawless skin with Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, an exfoliating fluid fortified with salicylic acid to help renew skin and minimise pores.
Absorbing quickly into the skin, the leave-on exfoliant targets both the skin's surface and deep down, sloughing away dulling dead skin cells whilst penetrating inside the pore to reshape and unclog deep within. Redness and blemishes are addressed and reduced.
Its lightweight texture delivers deep exfoliation and increases cell turnover so skin looks renewed and radiant with a more even tone. Salicylic acid harnesses antioxidant properties and increases collagen production; the appearance of wrinkles are reduced and skin feels firmer, healthier.

IMPORTANT: Those allergic to aspirin (acetylsalicylate) should not use products containing salicylic acid (beta hydroxy acid).
- Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning.
- Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid the lower lash line and eyelids).
- Do not rinse.
- For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 25 or greater.
BHA Advice:
To reduce skin flaking or possible irritation, some first-time users should use the BHA once a day or once every other day (preferably at night) for the first few weeks. After prolonged use (4-6 weeks), you can apply the BHA more frequently, and eventually it can be used twice a day. For some people it may only be necessary to use the BHA once a day or once every other day. The frequency of use for this BHA product completely depends on how your skin reacts so you may have to experiment until you find what works best for you. If redness, dryness, or irritation occurs, adjust frequency of application.

It is important to be consistent, especially in the beginning. I found that decanting the product into empty serum bottles made for less wastage (product absorbed in cotton) and easier application.

I feel I have definitely had less breakouts Since using this and do feel more confident. It can be quite drying but just use a bit more moisturiser. I have suffered with acne for years and I started using this at the end of January, it's now April and my skin has completely transformed and I haven't had a breakout since, I now rarely even get a single pimple. I use this once every night (I have used acids regularly so I know my skin can handle it everyday), my oiliness has reduced and my skin tone has evened. It is a very thin lightweight liquid, it soaks in very quickly and doesn't feel greasy or sticky, a small amount goes a long way and the bottle is bigger than I expected so it is totally worth the money as I expect this to last a long time. The only thing that I don't like is the way the product is dispensed from the bottle, the back says to use cotton pads but I don't like using them because of the waste, I wish it was a pump or dropper dispenser because the product kind of gets everywhere when tipping out, however this doesn't change my opinion on how good this product is because nothing has ever made my skin as good as this has!

This product has transformed my skin
I was really skeptical of using a BHA as I have very sensitive acne prone skin, so I was convinced it would only cause more irritation. But I was at my wits end with hormonal acne and closed comedones on my jawline and chin, so I decided to give this a go. It was the best decision I’ve ever made, I saw results overnight. I did purge for about 7 weeks which was not pleasant, but I’m really glad I’ve persevered. It’s given me brighter, clearer skin, smaller pores and more even skin tone. It’s also significantly reduced new breakouts and got rid of most my closed comedones, as well as fading red acne marks! Any spots that I do get now are typically smaller and quicker to heal. I received this in the post recently and I actually really like it. I’m not sure it shrinks my pores that much but it does give my skin a lovely glass like effect. Skin looks dewy... I can imagine it is a little drying so I avoid the eye area as i am quiet dry there.

Best thing I have ever bought for my skin
I hope they make this forever. Truly has made a difference, which after 20 years of terrible acne and the scarring it left behind, I didn't think possible. I have tried nearly everything in the last two decades to improve the look of my scarring and horrible pores, and tried this with no real optimism as nothing had ever really worked. Blurring creams wash off, some things made my skin look better while they were on but this stuff has been, for me, almost miraculous. . I don't use a cotton pad, put a couple of drops in the palm of my hand and rub it in with my fingers, morning and night. It seems like it will last a long time.

Wouldn’t recommend for sensitive skin
I have combination, acne prone skin that’s sensitive. This gave my skin a glow however, it would leave my skin with a burning sensation. After a few days, I developed a major rash and I noticed that since I started using it, my skin became more sensitive and prone to rashes and breakouts in general. Wouldn’t recommend to people with sensitive skin.
