Achieve flawless skin with Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, an exfoliating fluid fortified with salicylic acid to help renew skin and minimise pores.
Absorbing quickly into the skin, the leave-on exfoliant targets both the skin's surface and deep down, sloughing away dulling dead skin cells whilst penetrating inside the pore to reshape and unclog deep within. Redness and blemishes are addressed and reduced.
Its lightweight texture delivers deep exfoliation and increases cell turnover so skin looks renewed and radiant with a more even tone. Salicylic acid harnesses antioxidant properties and increases collagen production; the appearance of wrinkles are reduced and skin feels firmer, healthier.

IMPORTANT: Those allergic to aspirin (acetylsalicylate) should not use products containing salicylic acid (beta hydroxy acid).
- Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning.
- Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid the lower lash line and eyelids).
- Do not rinse.
- For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 25 or greater.
BHA Advice:
To reduce skin flaking or possible irritation, some first-time users should use the BHA once a day or once every other day (preferably at night) for the first few weeks. After prolonged use (4-6 weeks), you can apply the BHA more frequently, and eventually it can be used twice a day. For some people it may only be necessary to use the BHA once a day or once every other day. The frequency of use for this BHA product completely depends on how your skin reacts so you may have to experiment until you find what works best for you. If redness, dryness, or irritation occurs, adjust frequency of application.

Fantastic for closed comedones
I get quite bumpy textured skin on my forehead, with closed comedones and spots that never come to a head. Paula's Choice BHA has been really good at smoothing out my skin, preventing angry inflamed spots and I don't find it irritates at all. I use it once a day, sometimes every other day if I'm using Acnecide in between. Dream acid!

Effective exfoliation

Worth the investment
I have very spot prone skin and since introducing this product into m routine I have seen the best results compared to any other product. The product does not cause any redness or irritation and has stopped clogging and calmed existing spots. Have noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin and marks. I really believe this product is worth the money and due to its popularity as a great product is prehaps more pricey than other exfoliating toners but worth the hype.

Skin changing
This is my favourite acid, I have used it for years. It is great for unclogging my pores. This product is THE product that has had the most impact on my skin. I used to get little red spots on my jaw & chest - this stopped that & helps with any hormonal breakouts. A little goes a long way, I love it.

Working well for me
I thought I'd try this as I wasn't having much success with Glycolic based products and wanted to try something with Lactic acid in it. So far my skin seems to be responding well to this product. I started by buying the small trial sized bottle to make sure it didn't irritate my skin and once I was happy with the results I was getting I decided to buy the full size. Just a reminder that you must use a product with SPF on the face if you are using this as it will make your skin more sensitive to UVA/UVB rays.
