Philip Kingsley's Flaky/Itchy Scalp 8-Day Kit is an intensive regime to help relieve flaky, itchy scalps.
Suitable for all hair types.
The Set Contains:
2 x Flaky/Itchy Scalp Mask (20ml)
The nourishing treatment is enriched with anti-fungal Piroctone Olamine and Salicylic Acid to gently sweep away dandruff and impurities whilst replenishing deep hydration to ease itchiness. Antioxidant Green Tea Extract defends against environmental aggressors to promote a calm, comfortable and healthy scalp environment.
1 x Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo (75ml)
A gentle yet effective formula that helps to relieve itching and irritation for long-lasting comfort. Mild enough for daily use, the anti-dandruff shampoo eliminates flaking and build-up, whilst soothing the scalp and leaving hair feeling soft, shiny and manageable from root to tip. Imparts a pleasant Apple fragrance. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
1 x Flaky/Itchy Scalp Toner (75ml)
Soothes and calms sensitive scalp. Enriched with an anti-microbial and anti-flaking formula, it gives immediate and long-lasting relief from irritation. Clear and odourless, it's safe to use on colour-treated hair.
Mask: Dampen the entire scalp and hair. Apply the formula from the tube nozzle directly to the scalp in partings approx. 1” (3cm) apart, working from the front of head to the back. Using your finger gently spread the formula down the parted hair line on to the scalp and leave to absorb for 10-20 minutes. Whilst your scalp mask is working, apply Elasticizer to mid-lengths and ends for an extra hair treat. The mask should be used once a week, on days 1 and 8 and one tube is adequate for a full scalp application.
Shampoo: After 10-20 minutes, rinse the mask from the scalp and follow with a double shampoo using Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy Shampoo. First shampoo and gently massage for one minute to lift and remove loose flakes. Rinse and shampoo again. Condition hair using the appropriate Philip Kingsley conditioner for your hair type. Flaky/Itchy shampoo should be used daily for maximum benefit.
Toner: Next, lightly towel dry hair and apply Flaky/Itchy Toner to the scalp directly from nozzle in 1” (3cm) sections. Distribute with fingertips. Do not rinse. Comb through and style. Flaky/Itchy Scalp Toner should be used daily on a dry or damp scalp for maximum benefit. It can also be used as frequently as required throughout the day to calm and soothe the scalp.

The only products that help my scalp psoriasis. Use this all the time time now and it manages my condition. So much better than coal tar products that I've tried in the past. I really hope this is never discontinued!

I have suffered from a dry and flaky scalp for numerous years, and have never found a complete solution. I decided to try this range as I thought I had nothing to lose. I have been using it for just under a month in and have to say that I’m impressed. I used the mask (and the Philip Kingsley Bond Builder restructuring treatment on my ends) followed by the shampoo and toner. I am Afro-Caribbean and my hair is very fragile, so I would usually wash it once a week or maybe every other week depending on my scalp. By day 7 of using this range, my scalp was perfectly clean with no itchiness. I reapplied the toner and by day 14 my scalp was still in perfect condition with no flakes. I have since shampooed and used the mask and toner again I am now on day 12 – again with no flakes or itchiness. I feel as though my scalp is the healthiest it has ever been as I have also seen a huge reduction in the amount of hair I would usually shed. Obviously not all products work for everyone – but I would none-the-less highly recommend trying the range.

Had very high expectations
After reading all the reviews I had really high expectations.. sadly it didn’t pay off.. I didn’t notice any changes. And not sure what nice smell everyone is talking about. It doesn’t smell bad but it doesn’t smell amazing either. Also it leaves your hair very dry and rubbery.. didn’t like this product at all.

I've been struggling with a dry scalp this winter, and in fact, all my life. I've tried every shampoo under the sun, from high-street to high end, even over-the-counter remedies. This winter it hasn't been dandruff but small, dry (almost scaly) patches around my hairline. I've wanted to try this shampoo for a long time but didn't want to spend so much money in case it didn't work. This tester kit was the answer. With just one wash with the shampoo and scalp toner, I noticed a huge difference.
