not worth the hype

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I fell into the hype trap and got this product I've seen so many videos about and tbh I'm not too impressed. The product can be difficult to squeeze out and I'm not a fan of the lumpy texture. It does work nicely as a mask then taken off with a hot towel, but I'm not enjoying using it as a regular cleanser.

Fantastic makeup remover

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This removes all makeup and SPF easily without drying out your skin. I use a normal cleanser afterwards to remove all residue but this stuff lasts a long time - a little goes a long way!

Does the job

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Great cleansing balm that does the job. However I find it doesn’t last very long, as the consistency is quite thick so I end up using more than I’d like to so that I can spread it evenly. When the bottle is close to finishing, it’s hard to get the remnants out due to thick consistency. Does work very well as a cleanser though.

Inky list Oat cleansing balm

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is one my favourite inky list products. I use it everyday for my second cleanser. Takes off spf and makeup easily and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Nice

Nice product but a fair amount wouldn’t come out of the tube. I also find it didn’t do much for my skin so just used it as a first cleanse to remove makeup.

My go to cleanser

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have extremely sensitive skin and can't use many products, even cleansers designed for sensitive skin causes me to flare up. If you take your time you can get a deep but gentle cleanse.

Removes makeup without stinging my eyes, haven't been using for too long yet so can't comment on long term benefits. Smells lovely

Hard work to get it out of the tube

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

It's very thick and I felt like I needed to train in the gym to squeeze it out of the tube. I ended up transferring it into another container to use it but the hassle just isn't worth it. I just wanted to finish the wretched thing to get another product. Sorry, I won't be buying it again. In terms of quality, it's quite thick and olive which makes it somewhat attractive for a sensitive or dry skin but I don't want to resent the product and would rather invest in something a little more convenient or luxurious even if I ned to pay a few quid extra. This was just hard work.
