This gentle cleanser works to effectively remove makeup without drying out the skin. The Squalane Cleanser from The Ordinary is gentle enough for daily use unlike other makeup removers, as this effective emollient hydrates the skin and helps to protect the natural moisture barrier to prevent drying and tightness. The balm-like formula warms to a clear cleansing oil texture to provide a thorough cleanse, helping to remove makeup, oil and impurities.

- Application: Rub the cleanser in your palms to warm it until it melts into an oil. Massage into dry skin, then rinse with warm water.

New favourite cleanser
This is such a nice cleanser! I have always used oils or balms as a first cleanse but since having some breakouts I wanted to find a very simple formula that was not going to irritate my skin, and this is it! It's a nice oil cleanser but I prefer others. Takes a long time to break down into the oil and I feel like you need to use a lot of it. Does not last me very long. Also think packaging could be better as a lot left it tube you can't reach.
